
The Director of Corporate Enforcement (ODCE) is responsible for improving the compliance environment for corporate activity in Ireland. It encourages compliance with company law by promoting a greater understanding of affected parties' rights and duties as well as confronting unlawful and irresponsible behaviour. ODCE staff engages in a range of outreach activities, including delivery of presentations, attendance at exhibitions and dealing with company law enquiries. ODCE has broken down company law into an easy to understand series of information booklets and guides which explains the role and duties of varies parties such as company directors, members, shareholders, auditors, and liquidators.
